Lewisham Live Mix 2019

We're extremely proud to present the Lewisham Live Festival Mixtape, which comprises of fresh music made exclusively by the young people of Lewisham, and was mixed at NX Records.

Many of the tracks here were made by 14-18 year olds at Goldsmiths, University of London, as part of the Alchemy project in 2018-19. Alchemy is a collaboration between widening participation, the Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies and the Department of Music at Goldsmiths, in partnership with three Lewisham schools and the Albany Theatre (Deptford). It is directed by Mikey Kirkpatrick, musician and associate lecturer in music and education).
